I wish those holier than thou people would get over themselves in regard to black people not being in the Soviet Union in the 1920s. Langston Hughes was there (among others) --- black enough?

This film stands alone as a love letter

I have loved Eve Myles since seeing her in Torchwood. It is a shame such a talented Welsh actor is not more widely known but then again maybe it is her choice and the Welsh are lucky to claim her. She reminds me of the very fine Kate Winslet--wouldn't it be a treat to see them in the same vehicle. Looking forward to Lola in Season 3 --I hope.

Kate Winslet never takes a role she cannot handle, she does her homework and the result is always good work. The day after the finale of Mare of Easttown, my TV stations showed "Sense and Sensibility", "Iris" and "The Holiday" -- just a small sample of her acting range. Incidentally, do not overlook Julianne Nicholson in "Mare", The final scene where Lor and Mare reconcile is DEVASTATING.

I was a HUGE fan of "Torchwood" on BBC & THE NEVERS has many of its qualities including what looks like a heroine that cannot die -like Torchwood's Capt. Jack Harkness -- would be curious to know if the creator of THE NEVERS was also a fan. Galatea (Torchwood) and Galanti (THE NEVERS). And there is SO much more -- love the show.

Wow! These people are pushing 40 and seem to be stuck in their teens. I have no other comments except they should try being less self centered.

These five people seem to think they are smarter than anyone else; hence, they assume the license to ridicule opinions and situations of others -- thereby (so they think) making them the smart ones. All they end up being are buffoons for one hour. I am thankful not to live in their world and for a remote.

I have followed Mr. Gere's career since he started in films--in fact, have all his movies. However, the only movie worth while that he has acted in lately was NORMAN, THE STORY,,,,,,,,, He is either preoccupied or bored or maybe thinks he has more important things to do than "entertain" us. MotherFatherSon is a disaster -- very disappointing.
