I must confess that I did not expect it to be so profound. I have held Liesel and Rudy in my heart ever since I read the book. The fact that the story was narrated by Death only made it much more fascinating. Especially the author's portrayal of Liesel's surroundings. Though I must warn you, the ending is quite heartbreaking. But I do not regret it, so if you are anything like me I believe you will relish it.

Credit to RC for writing one of the best medical thrillers I've read so far. Did not expect the ending at all. The book shows the controversial future of genetic engineering and modern medicine. A great book for mystery readers like me. Hope you enjoy it.
