The thing is that most people didn't get the perspective of the picture and saw it for entertainment as whole ,while when you try to understand the movie itself with each character's desires and wordplay you will understand that the movie is way more than people think it is ; it celebrates love ,friendship, romance and most importantly 'love within friendship', and won't please people who see this movie with a backward mindset that a guy and a girl can never be less than lovers if they deeply love each other ,which is not true. I would really say thankyou to Karan Johar for bringing together such a perfect cast together to build this fascinating story and to the dialogue writer because without the mind-blowing urdu dialogues and its delivery the movie would have been less aphrodisiac. With characters like Saba who arouses you and Alizeh to relate you like she's you and yours, is one of the bestest showcases in the Bollywood's drama, while Ayan's character takes me to a more desperate and sad life of what guys go through after falling in love with their female friends and how hard they handle every situation. Otherwise the songs and movie as a whole is a 5/5 for me because I fully understood this movie after watching it 3rd to 4th time and realise how magical it is.
