Peter Haydon

An interesting Western that relies on the strength of Kurt Russell’s performance - he is tremendous as the grizzled but decent and kindly sheriff - to hold it together. It’s a simple enough story of a small posse trying to recover an abducted woman, so not exactly original but well written and with some pretty good dialogue. Recommended.
