One of the best Scooby Doo movies I've seen post Cyber Chase. I've noticed that writers have been portraying these characters has theses extremely annoying over the top archetypes, taking a step backwards from the progress made by the original Direct-to-DVD Scooby Doo movies. However, this movie doesn't do that, it respect the characters being portrayed and represents them as more round characters with emotion and intelligence. An example being that they portray Velma as a healthy skeptic, rather than a science worshipper who panics when presented with the supernatural. The mystery is well done and I enjoyed how unique the movie is compared to other Scooby Doo films in regard to how they present the villains and the mystery. This movie is animated well and I had a fun time watching it, great for kids and adults who wanna watch it with their kids.
