I was very excited to see Eddie and Jonah acting together. I expected they would butt heads but I wish it was equal from them both so that we could have seen some comedic banter between them. The religious aspects of each family was barely touched on in my opinion, it was more centred around their racial aspects. An example comes from the scene that introduces Lauren's character who is wearing a necklace with an Ankh pendant (she wears this multiple times throughout the movie). Some quick research will show that the Ankh was important in African culture (originating from the Pharaohs who were non-believers of Allah swt). However, a bit more research shows that in Islam, wearing or promoting this symbol is forbidden. Maybe I'm nitpicking but it felt like an extremely poor oversight. The Muhammed family were not just African American but also Muslim. I feel like that wasn't enough of a factor
