wonderful, hypnotic and incredibly moving. great casting. in the past I have not been a fan of Sam Elliott..but he made me eat my words. he was brilliant.

I would have given it no stars, but that doesn't seem to be an option. since most of the show is actors and some "real" people. who are adults, we know they made the choice to participate in this dreary enterprise. but what about the children, particularly the younger ones? did they really have a choice? did they really understand? the finale says a firm "no" to that. Nathan Fiedler, a humorless, soulless creature has exploited children for his own gain and profit. that puts him one step below a pedophile. he should be prosecuted for this endeavor, as should the geniuses at HBO who greelit this monster. The charge won't hold up, of course, but it would nice to see them suffer and squirm just as he made those children squirm.
