Watched it with my s/o and gotta say this was the best movie of all time, definitely a new standard for cinema storytelling. Great character introduction from the villain and a happy ending that's always included in these fairy tale movies. Did my boi puss in boots justice and those saying it's terrible story telling at no point did I feel disengaged. There were action and soft scenes with sad undertones but overall there was a great consistent flow and at no point did I question where a character was because every character was fleshed out. A lot of bad reviews walk out in the middle of the movie and then complain about how nothing made sense when they did not even have the gal to finish it. 10/10 however if you do have little ones I suggest around 9 or older as there is a tiny amount of blood, censored words meant to insinuate swear words, and apparently the villain can be scary. I wouldn't count on that last one as I've seen scarier stuff in my childhood than a wolf that whistles.
