Dune is greatest book and this movie doesn't make it 1/5 of a justice. The characters are too shallow and many important details about the desert were also omitted. Even the 1984 version was better without the effects. Even more disappointing was the acting of lady Jessica. She supposed to be stunningly pretty, wise and a leader. Giving 3 starts for the attempt, but really rather haven't watched it at all.

Twisted right and wrong perspective, not enough gray areas, but the narrative is that she is right and everybody else wrong. There are some curious turn of events. But the ending feels like the script writers didn't know how to end it so they just ... spoiler..
