Ash's review down below is a nick pick fest on things that urk a person who's closed mindedness bitterly compeled me to write a review in the first place. This remake did the impossible job on improving a general accepted work of art. One of the things I was urked by the original was the dialog between characters and having awareness of what was going on. I understand the original team was japanese and the conversation between characters seemed to come from people that really didn't converse with people on a regular basis and plus that with a foreign language, it always seemed off to me. The dialog here is superb and believable. I really felt like this would be a real conversation with people in the same circumstance and made it that much more imerrisve. The boss battles. I was blown away at the creative direction they took in making the battles unique with different fazes. The abject father boss fight was chefs kiss*. Eddie was more fleshed out and made you feel sorry but when James decked him with the gun in his face, that is something believable and made me feel they took the time to act a real world response in that situation. Sorry for the long rant. Giving this a 2 star from Ash's review is a crime against what is really a 8.5/10 game. Definitely pick this gem up. You will fall in love with it.
