Excellent plot. The way details were revealed during each episode was well done.
Each character was delineated in a skillful way. I wanted to know much more about each main character than what was revealed (I hope a second season is more than a rumor).
The acting was equally skillful, and there was not a weak actor in the group. There were several scenes with actors in vehicles and no dialogue, with just their facial expressions and body language expressing their thoughts. An absolute master of this was Björn Thors, as Arnar. He had a particularly expressive scene near the end of the season (or series as our British friends call it).
The cinematography was excellent, with panning shots of the bleak but beautiful Icelandic landscape. The music scoring was low-key but skillfully highlighted the affect of each scene.
Being a fan of police procedurals, I was quite pleased to watch this production. Please bring us more!
