I wonder how nobody's reviewed this masterpiece ! It's a story of Israil-palestein tension, it portreys how meaning of love, friendship changes amid the shower of bullets. True to reality, fantastic story. Director didn't try to overdo anything, He just lift you up and place on the streets and town of isro-palestein border. This is the first movie I've watched which has no background music yet it's a strong point, no lacuna. Amazing performances by everybody, lead actor did all ( or many ) stunts by himself ( like climbing on high separation wall. ) Worth winning academy award. Though you're not used to watch such movies, you'll LOVE this.

Fully entertaining movie. Deserves better rating and recognition.

I knew about this incident and book Crucible (by Gong Ji-young) beforehand. So it took me a month to gather courage to watch this movie. After watching, as expected, I was speechless. This unspeakable incident is told in such a great cinematic language that every frame speaks of itself. It mustn't be easy to adopt a great novel based on sensitive incident into cinema. Gong Yu is a great actor but his performance is shadowed by other great performances, mostly by Jung Yu-mi (Social worker) Director gave justice to the great novel and the pictured out various dimentions of tragic event. Salute Mr. Director, for the movie and especially for the scene on a beach where hope sparked. It was like finding a small boat amid whirlpool in an abyss. Finally, what a great way to finish movie ! fog city... Ha

Feel good movie about friendship. Watch it for NOSTALGIA. I like Chun Woo-Hee (One of the bad girls) the most

I can't explain in words how much I like this movie. Must watch heartbreaking movie. It made me giggle, made me sad, made me think, made my tears roll down my cheeks. This and Taxi driver movie made me understand pain of living under the clouds of dictatorship. Someone told me that it has same storyline as Classic. Both movies have rural background, but storylines differ a lot. I like this movie more than Classic though. Having seen many k movies ending felt somewhat cliche, but how did they carry it out is worth watching. Rural korean picturesque scenery is very pleasant for eyes.I like how they use ,yesterday when I was young' song in differant stages of life.

My God what a movie ! Very underrated, deserves at least 7.5 IMDB rating. I've watched almost all good korean thrillers and this movie is easily among top 5. Tight storyline, great direction, edge of the seat movie. Unlike many korean movies, this one is very good paced. Glad I did't miss this gem.

What a movie ! I wonder why people haven't reviewed this gem. It's funny, cute, realistic, romantic. Best journey movie I've ever watched. Don't think, just watch it. This is based on thai novel, two shadows in korea. Somebody please translated in english

Bittersweet first love story. Setup is realistic, will make you remind of your schooldays. Most of the part is funny. Worth watching

This movie is scary, certainly better than many western horror movies. I guessed the climax and anti-climax but its only because I've watched hundreads of suspense, thrillers, horror movies.

Very good movie in every aspect. I'm impressed with Van Houten's mind blowing performance. Go and watch it wheather you like war movies or not.
