Peter Colbourne

The first two series were the absolute high point of this series. The casting was spot on, the show had interesting murders to solve and great interaction between the characters. I particularly enjoyed the scenes between Ben Miller and Sara Martins, who had palpable chemistry. The decision to kill off Ben's character was an act of utter stupidity and I was very disappointed when Sara left half way through series 4. She was fantastic as Camille. I have continued to watch the show but felt series 13 was a real low point - even an all too brief cameo from Sara failed to save the series. I am not sorry to see Ralf Little leave. I would strongly recommend that the producers reunite the "Dream Team" of Ben and Sara in Europe with a spin off film. I hope series 14 sees some sort of return to form but would much prefer to rewatch series 1 & 2!
