I'm absolutely flabbergasted at some of the positive reviews this movie is getting. I know that taste in movies or anything for that matter is subjective and I'm ok with that, although it does surprise me because some things should just be universally common. For those that loved this movie or want a sequel to it, more power to you. For me, it was an embodiment of an absolute waste of time. It just left me so angry and bitter at having wasted my 2 plus hours. I was attracted by the big stars, Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, Mahershala Ali, etc. But the whole story line just felt so discombobulated. Even the acting by these veteran actors seemed so unrealistic given the predicament they were facing. Anyway, I felt compelled to come here and warn others not to waste their time. I for my part, will think twice before watching any movies that involve anyone involved in the making of this disaster of a movie.
