Just goes to show that the police policing themselves does not work. An independent body should be in charge and not police officers. Also the recruitment process is shamefully lacking, what we have ended up with is 'bullies in uniform' with not a hope in hell of getting a job anywhere else. The whole system needs a complete overhaul and get rid of some of those in uniform who have been there far too long and have a far more rigorous recruitment system.
