Satisfying and fun use of martial arts tropes, delivered in classic larger-than-life-style, with beautiful cinematography and amazing action sequences. Donnie Yen is charismatic as always. My only real criticism is that it is incredibly dense and fast-paced, which takes away from deep emotional engagement and relaxed enjoyment of the plot. This story should have been adapted as a series rather than a feature length film. Even so, it is a great watch for fans of the genre.
