If you like movies that touch on behavior and psychology this one is interesting doesn't go too deep and has some cliches like breaking obedience when it comes to the thing you love the most or values.
Although I could believe the guy loved her, maybe not the most.
Would have been better to see a series version, where it would go more in-depth in the different drugs, each prisoner's back story, and even the final part having the right-hand guy helping with the escape, but the end felt rushed.
The dark medicine resembled the feeling of addiction but deprivation from the drug and for some people, this can be difficult to watch. The way everything went on paper sounds good but visually was too light of a reaction. The guy helping wouldn't have been able to watch the scene judging by his personality and overall behavior. The backstory of the bad guy could have been explored more in-depth if made into a series. Extra characters didn't come across as compelling enough for the watcher to care for them too much.
Overall good idea, well portrayed and felt like a pitch for a series. The final message was to get out of our prison and forgive ourselves for the bad things we've done.
