This movie is so wonderful, I think it’s the best musical movie I have ever seen. With writer & director Damien Chazelle made the characters chase their dream with passion like in his last movie ‘Whiplash’ then in this movie, you defiantly can expect for colorful, stunning and marvelous! For the genres, this movie is a musical movie, it makes me think it is similar to the movie for old Hollywood around the '90s when it was the golden time of the musical movie. The things that are outstanding in this movie for me are the mood & tone, the soundtrack, the plot, and the character. In the part of mood & tone of this movie are gorgeous, each scene will have a different mood each scene there will be blended or gradient color suits for each scene, which is so detailed and makes the movie so perfect more with the theory of color in each scene or using various color of light while filming for show the complex of mood that is so good. Then in the part of the soundtrack, I can tell that is the best musical for me right now, it’s literary my style I love it so much. Most types of music in this music is jazz and piano honestly that is one of the keys that involve with the characters in this movie, it’s help to build the mood in the movie and show or explain the feeling of the character and it’s so melodious. In the part of the plot, In the first time I thought it was going to be cliche like the other movies but the direction by Damien Chazelle his style will be like gives more weight to the passion or chasing the dream more than love, so the plot that leaves the dream for love it’s not happened in this movie. And in the part of the characters, I think habit personal of the female lead and male lead have humanity a lot, and then the acting of actors Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling is so crazy, they make me feel into the movie so badly especially the end of the movie I’m so blank when it ends, it has so many feeling through in my heart. Even though I prefer the normal happy ending but the ending in this movie it’s so real and regrettable but it’s taught me the reality that I might to face it someday, whatever even it’s not normally ending like other movies but it’s be the ending that everyone happy in their own way. In the conclusion that I think this movie that is the movie you must to watch it once in your life because of the plot, story setting, the characters, the music and also the mood & tone with all of these elements it’s included in this movie magnificently, and anyway I believe that after you watch this movie your point of view of love is must be change forever.
