I was watching this with the grandkids and we were loving it until out of nowhere came a "talk about race and color". It was so deflating and so unnecessary for the show. In the moment, we were thinking the principle thought it was Dion because the little boy that stole his watch got hurt and nobody could explain why. Nowhere in this instance did it need to be a "dillard's replay" and talk about the racist principle. I was really heartbroken to see the director had to go there. that's what keeps everyone divided-opinions like that. ;(
