If you’re at all interested in the movie read the book… I read the book first and was excited to see the movie. They got it all wrong… There should’ve been more depth to her character as a young girl. They didn’t put in the poems except part of the very first one and the poems were a very important part. Especially the last poem. The actors did good with what they had, but overall seemed rushed, and very disappointing outcome. I am extremely unimpressed to say the least. The movie could’ve been absolutely amazing especially with 2 hrs, or even an extra 30. Might have helped if they actually demonstrated the main events leading to the plot. Maybe it was under budgeted, whatever the reason it’s not worth watching. Read the book.
