This is an amazing movie. Is there some cheesy dialogue and elemental puns? Of course—that’s part of its charm! Some ppl who are leaving reviews are talking about how “woke” movie is. Which I didn’t see at all. If anything, the movie deals with normalizing interracial relationships. Which is a good idea, not a work idea. It deals with a daughter trying to be true to her heritage and to herself simultaneously. Which is something that many teenagers and young adults will really relate to. The lighthearted comedy and colorful characters make it fun for all ages—especially for the kids. There are a few jokes that are intended for older audiences, but they are camouflaged in “elemental dialogue” and would go right over kids’ heads. Overall, this movie is a cute Cartoon that seeks to deal with real human issues without losing its colorful charm. 10/10 recommend for all ages.
