THIS BOOK WAS UNEXPECTED. WOW. Don't research too much into it. Go into it clear-minded. Seriously. Someone recommended this to me when I asked for "Thrillers with an ending you can't predict" and let me tell you- WHAAAT?! It gets weird, but ride it out, it's crazy.

If you love this book, please don't consider this a personal attack. I was supremely disappointed with this book, as the back cover gave most of it away! You'll think, "SURELY this can't be it!" only to read it and find out-nope...that was pretty much it. Had it not had the meat of the book right in the synopsis, I probably would find this book to be exciting and heart breaking (which it mostly was) but it was ruined before it started, and ended up being pretty predictable with or without the back cover. TL;DR: DON'T READ THE BACK.

It was slow moving, but eventually became very interesting. I read a lot of thrillers, so it's super disappointing to be able to guess what is going to happen at the end. I wasn't able to do that with this one! So, that's good. However, after the surprising revelations, the ending was EXTREMELY anticlimactic. I audibly said "wait.... that's it?!"
