The performance by Phoenix gets an A+
The movie tells a great story of a mentally ill man that gets spit on by society and then spits back.
However, this is not the Joker we know- clever, witty, strategic, charismatic, etc. Arthur is none of these, but in fact, the opposite.
Again, great story, but very different from the others.
