I loved the book. I felt the last time Ryle hurts Lily was not nearly as dramatic as it was in the book and should have been in the movie. In the book Lilly got a concussion from Ryle and Atlas had to come get her and drive her to the hospital because she couldn’t. The movie skimmed over that… like a watered down version of the abuse.
