Just completed the third episode , it is extremely slow, wouldn't say it is boring but it's borderline which is disappointment. At least do something beyond another cliffhanger at the episode end. They do a good job with the CGI , but the fight scenes and dialog are a bit heavy on the "teen" side. The relationship between Princess Kat and Jade doesn't feel real, like they have no backstory or real chemistry - feels like they had to just insert this into the script but didn't know how to handle it. Why even make this relationship a side story? It brings very little value here. Every so often they have an interaction that seems like they have a relationship, but these come up at the wrong time when something bigger is going on in the episode. Almost like "Hey we have to address their love story somewhere , let's slot it in for a few minutes here to check it off our list".
Also, I don't understand why they didn't send more protection with the group when they left. They sent all the heirs of multiple kingdoms (very young adults with no real world experience) with a questionable treasure hunter who was friends with mad martigan. It makes even less sense when they showed the scene with the queen belittling Willow in the past on his skills. Know they need to travel fast, but come on - there was a few scenes where the "outside world" was very dangerous and they could easily die. Send at more guards for protection. I'll continue watching, but hopeful some real answers start coming. The continued adding of multiple open questions from each episode is getting more and more difficult to track.
