People who are criticising the "Tacky prizes" or light-hearted nature of the show don't really get it. It's meant to be tacky and light-hearted, its part of the appeal of the show to many people. I find it's a good quiz show for families to watch, as children and adults alike can often have a stab at some of the questions. If you're looking for something less light hearted, go watch mastermind. This clearly just isn't for you.
