I’ve read a few of the Kay Scarpetta series… and enjoyed them. This, however, was hard going. So much minute detail included but not a lot in the way of story line. I feel like an idea was had, and then a story was rushed out to fit the idea. Honestly, you can skim read most of this. I’m frustrated that I picked it up in the first place. Maybe I missed the point? Or maybe there just wasn’t one
