I began watching the movie wanting to hate it because of the media reports that I had seen. However, I will say that this is a movie that stays with you, it makes you think long after the final credits roll. Taking yhe slight leftward bias into account, the films visuals and story pull you in. The film is best viewed through the lens of a case study of the last days of any despotic regime. The struggle for power, the atrocities, the senselessness of the holdouts even though they know all is lost. SPOILER. aLERT- I’ll give you a chance to switch to a different post now….. the ending was a bit cliched. If the main leads, character was a jaded as she appears in the beginning of the film, she would have let the young girl get shot to death and photographed what she foretold at the beginning of the film.

Great premise and first episode but the story ultimately saga under a preposterous plot. Hopefully there will be a second season that will correct the flaws of the first.

This series had a lot of promise but is weighed down by its uneven depiction of right and left politics. Cheesy ending that didn’t ring true. I would ask for my money back but why waste the time.

Predictable and cliched. Conservative stereotypes are just as bad as liberal stereotypes…

It has been about 30 years since I last saw an entire show through to the end. The sketches are trite or rely too heavily on political humor (mostly skewed towards one political party) and the actors really are “not ready for prime time players”. Give this show a dignified death…
