Rousseau said that people are genuinely good by nature then society corrupts us. At its core that’s what this film is about. A medical student who aspires to be a surgeon and is then corrupted by her mentors. I think people need to be very conservative when awarding a film with 5 stars. I give it 3 stars for 2 reasons. First, because the film seemed confused as to what it was. Was this a revenge film? Did the heroine fall and then rise again? Yes, no, maybe? Second, the deus ex machina ending. Overall, not a bad film.
