Great acting by the main actors. The end of the film is a tour de force for Olivia. You will never forget the transformation (so to speak) by Olivia. Spectacular.

I saw this last night and the story line was a little too pat and predictable. I love animal stories as long as it doesn’t have sad ending. Heck I still love Disneys original 101 Dalmatians! Within the first 5 minutes knew the narrative.

The story completely hooked me from the onset. The chaos of the lifestyle baffles me as to how to keep up with all the lies and living in the web of deceit.

Fascinating character study. Can’t abide Lancaster in anything but an ensemble and David Niven won academy award for performance.

A bit overwrought with Welles chewing up the dialogue and Loretta young constantly on the verge of hysteria. I like the movie due to Robinson playing calmness in the face of too much histrionics. A bit unrealistic and in a film from 1946 soon after WWII this was common. The “boys” in this school played Paper Chase for hours! Toddlers could play that game and was height of stupidity. One leader runs through woods dropping strips of paper here and there so he could be found Lordy! Surely this game was not the norm for college guys.

This has always been one of my favorite Hitchcock films. I first saw this when it first was exhibited in theaters. The suspense is great and the humor interspersed a welcome addition. I heard Pat Hitchcock (daughter) say Frenzy one of her favorites by her dad.

The imagery and direction is beyond fantastic. Great acting and gorgeous music spot on. Not a film to see often due to desperate people living in their own hell.
