This review is about season 4 of true detective. Skipping to the end, I just want to say I didn’t have a clue how it would end and the ending did not disappoint. I went back and watched each episode a second time because there is so much going on and you don’t want to miss a single step. I thought the acting was brilliant and the story amazing. I loved how the main characters were women and it took the perseverance of the two main characters to get through the maze of clues. All the local lore of the people living in Alaska provided an interesting backdrop to the story as well as providing an air of the supernatural which made the story even more spooky and exciting to watch. There are still a lot of questions I have which, now that I’ve seen it will cause me to watch it again to see what clues I missed and what made the story more compelling. Watch it and don’t be playing on your phone while you do. You will miss too much of a really good show.
