For a show called The Real, which hosts women of color, by the way the show is scripted and produced, it's insultingly white washed. I've thought that ever since they got rid of Tamar Braxton and seemingly put a censor on Loni Love. It was difficult getting back into the show after the season 2/3 but nonetheless I stuck around, but begin watching the show through a side eye.
I was very excited when Amanda Seales joined the show and maybe what I had grown to believe wasn't true. But not much to my surprise, the wouldn't allow her to express her genuinity and authenticity. So I'm no longer a fan. As a black woman, I can't watch this show with pride.
