I found the storyline of the movie Kalank to be quite intelligent. The settings, though artificial, does not take away from understanding the universal truths espoused. I did feel the flash forwards to 1956 were confusing and unnecessary. I would rate this movie 4 out of 5 for making me feel that this was realism uncensored.

Saw Bheed last Thursday night in Toronto. I found it one of the best written films i've seen in a long time. The stoic dignity of the population that endured this corona migration back to their villages speak volumes of the roots of India's ancient values and civility juxtapositioned with the crass newly rich.
