I watched this a month or so ago- but I remember loving it. There are definitely some cliché parts, but it's impossible to have horror movies that don't have stereotypical moments. It's freaky, especially if you're in your teens or younger with well-placed gore and jump scares. The director (who's a monster himself but let's not talk about that) has pauses throughout the film to add suspension, but also includes action packed scenes. One thing I appreciated was towards the end it was framed in a very humorous light, even though that might not have been done on purpose. Overall, I highly recommend watching it, but be prepared to face-palm, and try to ignore the clichés.
