Nearly everything about this movie is perfect, it may turn you off at first but it is a perfect allegory for trans peoples existence. It also is relatable for anyone with mental health issues, parental issues, etc. (my point being it does not just appeal to trans individuals!) a big criticism I see is one of the characters arcs is not very transformative but that characters arc point was that some trans individuals may not ever have the courage to come out, and many people can relate to regretting things of which they can’t change and that is what the movie is trying to say
