So sad I can’t find any written reviews on this book. It’s was full of drama which kept me reading. I believe I am just tired of the black community in movies/shows being involved with drugs. This is an older book though.. just not my type of genre I guess.

I liked the plot but the written did not make the story truly come to life. It didn't feel realistic enough. 2 High schooler go through all this with hardly no parents. I also didn't like reading about high schoolers. I'm 30, so it was kind of weird in way. They needed to be over 18 at least. I got really interested when we did not know where Charlie was but they let that conflict die fast.
