This has to be one of those films that anyone, remotely interested in film,had to see! The duelling guitar scene, as the white middle class men go further and further into the backwoods of Appalacia is one of its highlights. But the film gets darker and darker, and has something to say about America which has stayed in my mind each time I visited. Watch it. You won't be sorry. But not untouched by its darkness.
