"Obi-Wan Kenobi" is easily the best Star Wars show of them all.
It's a show about one man's persistence in the face of profound grief and despair and the strength to suffer through it all and rise above for the sake of his love for the dear friends he lost and the children they left behind.
It's about breaking cycles. Fighting for the next generation to have a chance. Sacrifice and devotion to a higher cause. Empathy. Learning from the mistakes of the past to build a better future. Seeing one generation live on in the next.
No piece of Star Wars media has done more to bridge the prequel and original trilogies. It carries so much of the pathos of the first six films. It deepens and enriches the characters. It adds emotional gravity and literary heft to the story of Star Wars. The action scenes are possibly the best in the franchise, too. Kenobi is an utter masterpiece, and I cannot endorse it more strongly. 5/5, 10/10, 100%, it's amazing.
