What a fantastic, well done movie! I've watched in three times in theaters now. It is definitely a "movie theater movie". From the lively blues music to the upbeat Irish music, this movie truly takes you back to 1930s in Mississippi. The acting was amazing especially with Michael B Jordan playing two characters, they actually felt like different people. Their is a specific scene in this movie that truly made me feel connected to my ancestors having an out of body reaction. It truly was a feeling I can't describe. Also it was great to have a love interest be portrayed with darker skin and a fuller frame which you never see in Hollywood movies! It was the representation that I needed. Everything in this movie had purpose so I would recommend not letting anything pass you by in this movie, and truly taking the time to reflect after you watch it. This movie was an easy 8.5/10 for me!

Loved the show. Great diverse characters, more relatable to children.

Very boring and uninteresting to watch. I found myself falling a sleep every few minutes. Many plot holes and it was generally not a good movie to watch. Bad animation as well.
