Bloopo Baggins (For Real??)

This show has pretty much everything I love about Spider-Man and other young vigilante hero stories. By the end of the first season I felt like I got a taste of everything from the secret identity and life balance problems to Peter almost losing sight of his morals and this one bit that reminded me of the twist in Across the Spiderverse. And there was a lot of obvious inspiration from the Playstation games during the action scenes and webslinging which I can't really complain about. At first I did kinda wish they'd gone for a different animation style but it did grow on me and I can't wait to see where season 2 goes.

The 1 star off is a collection of small acting choices and things that could've been tweaked to be less corny but other than that it's a great concept. I was really let down when I saw Us in theaters but seeing this was more like my experience with A Quiet Place, a good edge of my seat thriller. Nope takes things a little more abstract and thought provoking however which some people may find less coherent but I can appreciate it. Another thing is that there's more time to develop the base concept before things start getting crazy, as opposed to Us
