This anime is great!!!!Wow the ending was so emotional that i cried.I wouldn't say this is the best but this is really great and a must watch show.Although all actions didn't have meaning and some of the actions are not well explained which leaves us in the dark.But truly an exceptional show. Overall I would give this a 9.3/10

A perfect 'slice of life'.It touched my heart and made me cry.That's what we look for in a slice of life I mean it should hit that spot and have an impact on your life.This is a must watch anime and I definitely recommend this.Oh btw did I mention about the awesome sound track,by far the best soundtrack I have ever heard in this kinda genre.

Overall the anime was very good but not as much as i rated. I was just balancing the total rating.8/10 The only con of this show was its bad storytelling in season 3 and 4(2 is somehow manageable).I suggest you read the manga because they dont explain major things which some people say is a plot hole. Just read the manga and it will be clear. I watched this anime after 1 year of dilemma due to certain speculations. THIS IS A MUST WATCH ANIME !!!! SO DONT MISS IT.

Too short and storyline is pretty basic. Characters were good and overall a good anime

Really good and not a single episode is a waste of time (every episode has an impact ).I like the way the anime takes drastic twists and turns in the story and how the character's mindset changes over time. Truly amazing!!! BTW i would rank this anime as no.2 below death note :)

CMON!! This anime has such a basic story line and kinda little fun.Also i dont understand why people think season 1 is better than season 2.According to me the op,the story is better in season 2.The ranking system,character detail of s class heroes makes it interesting in season 2 I cut 2 stars for 2 reasons :- 1) OVERRATED.KEEPING IT IN THE PLACE WHERE IT DESERVES (BALANCING) 2) IT TAKES THEM 4 DAMN WHOLE YEARS FOR 1 SEASON WITH 12 EP.

AMAZING!!!!! This is the best and please don't believe what other critics say.This anime is good throughout and also has a good ending.Death Note not only is a thriller but has comedy,romance etc.It is made for every type of viewer. just go and watch it :)

I know why this anime is at the top. A very unique genre. I have watched till ep 261 and am still watching. The show just has no limits and bounds. Never stops to be funnier and more interesting and I haven't even reached the best part as people say. I felt kinda weird watching this anime like around 5 episodes but then I understood how this anime worked and got totally hooked up and fell in love with this anime by the end of around 25 episodes. Just like people say, the story becomes more and more interesting, gets a good plot very slowly but the main thing about this anime is not the plot, but the comedy. I can assure you that this show's comedy is better than any sitcom you might've watched. Also the serious arc is better adapted than any shounen. I just love the shogun assassination arc which is probably the best arc in the anime too. It is amazing how they return to normal after a serious arc. Overall I would rate this 9.5/10 (Till ep 261). Now i have watched the whole series and my opinion doesn't change. Legendary show. just go for it :)
