First the positives. Great set pieces, camera angles, chase scenes and just any scene involving a vehicle be it train, car, ambulance, or helicopter. The director has done a lot of work on TV shows in the past and the scenes involving paramedics and emergency services look like they came straight out of one of those tv-dramas - but in the good way. Dakota Johnson, Emma Roberts, all of the female cast members in general portrayed their character to either make you love them or hate them which is a plus for casting choices. Finally the wardrobe and costume designs were nostalgic with Ezekiel Sims rocking a black-spider suit that looked like it was based off Spider-man 2's suit.
With that said, it's a negative when Ezekiel Sims is talking and his mouth movements don't match the voice-over. You can tell they tried to correct for this by showing other character's reactions as he's talking rather than his face and while the discrepancy isn't always there it is noticeable when it is. Secondly, early gunshot premonition scenes were jarring. If you can't take a surprise gunshot noise several times over, be warned.
