Legacies fails to reach the bar set by TVD and TO. Had great expectations from this series. But the show is rather ridiculous at times, creating the oddest things to somehow combat the never ending stream of monsters. With certain characters missing inexplicably from certain episodes, and with Caroline being in Europe forever and seeming to not want to come back to the school she is an integral part of, and meeting her daughters for only a short time, the show has several plot holes. Landon Kirby is annoying, to say the least, and is a burden on those around him. However, the show is not completely horrible, and often entertaining and thrilling. Legacies is a disappointment compared to its predecessors.
