The film is what it is, not great, not awful, but given the subject matter it is a crime how labour is represented here. All characters give birth on their back, in brightly lit hospital rooms, directed to push by "the professional". Of course that isn't too far off from how labour goes in reality for many women. Still, it is a huge shame that they couldn't have shown at least in one case what a truly good natural labour should look like..
