This wasnt a movie, this was watching the screen and travelling back in time to reminsce the first crush, butterflies, tension, confusion and romance making its way to the life’s first love. The days of innocence and adoloscene beautifully portrayed by the main cast against a backdrop of grey skies in tune with the grayness in the storyline. This soft love story was an intense slow burn and every scene was delicious. Not a teen story but of a teen heart in a woman ❤️

Where do I begin? Give this girl the bollywood plaque and roll the red carpet out for her. Qala/Tripti entered and walked away with the no 1 star title. I am left mesmerized by the whole affair- The stunning visuals, dramatization, the story and direction are truly on a global scale. This movie took my feelings out of my body and hung it out for me to rawly experience. I was immensely moved for what the characters experienced and I wanted to hug babil and tripti at various points. My heart broke the first time when Babil shares his vulnerability with Qala and then it broke again when Qala yearns for her mother to rescue her when she realizes she isnt well. What a vicious truth these dynamics in the story hold. Swastikas acting felt so real that watching the mother daughter dynamic played out somehow struck a chord with me. Triptis beauty is ethereal and she has brought back the innocence and the old world charm of the 50s-60s that led me to feel she compares to be Madhubala of this era. Bravo on creating a stunningly beautiful movie and treating us to this visual poetry. Kantara and now Qala are taking movies to a whole new spectrum. Arrive’

This was truly art brought to life through mind numbingly articulate story telling and actors becoming one with their characters. The whole story unravels in the last 25 mins which resulted in the best cinematic experience I've probably had in recent years. It gave me an out of body, almost spiritual experience with Rishabh's enactment of the daiva and am in awe of how his mind and body endured all that to create those masterful scenes that it almost felt that his acting had supernatural intervention. Gives me goosebumps just rethinking the scene. This story is an amazing act of reverence to the demi gods and the folklores that are enmeshed in the micro cultures of our country right here in Karnataka's coastal belt. I have to believe that the subject matter, characterization and the climax completely moved me that this was a treat to all my senses and left me in a state of trance in the end. Nature is supremely our almighty, reminds us we all are just passersby/tenants on this planet and it would be foolhardiness to think other wise. God is in our nature and nature trumps everything. Lord shiva's story retold through the protagonist's character movement was done so effortlessly and referenced and aligned his story with the transition of the yugas- from destruction to awakening. It was the little details that mattered and this movie is a master potion of everything right. The whole theatre experience after 3 years was indeed well worth it. A movie of epic hallmark quality. This movie will stay with me for a while.

This series is a beautiful ode to love; love between Amy and Lino, love between cultures, love between tradition and forging your own path. I sat down to watch a single episode and I couldnt leave it without doing all 8 in a row. There is a quiet brilliance about the story that it till takes until the last scene to truly understand. Love and grief are an inevitable part of any life but how it is experienced is what brings quality to life. Hope and despair are unyielding and What life sometimes cant teach, grief truly does. I am happy the show showed so much about the Sicilian way of life which i was fortunate to experience myself a short while ago and this series took me on a walk down memory lane. This series shows a lot of strength in its characters and from start to finish it was all heart and now feel like I am connected to all the characters. The actors were really great and Zoe Saldahna is an unbelievably vertatile actor. A beautiful story really shown well. Truly loved this. 10 stars

Didn't keep the benchmark high before settling in to watch but the trailers were intriguing enough to commit. I love classic noir and I liked that this movie tread on this genre. Deepika's acting was edgy and I liked her doing justice to the character and while siddhant has a good tempo, didn't do enough to surface the depth the character needed. Ananya was a surprise, I felt she did good in filling her role and her acting skills have gone up a few notches. The cinematographer has largely contributed and the greyness of the story comes alive with the reel. My only complaint being that the story building of getting the 2 adulterers together and getting them emotionally involved felt rushed and was very little time to connect with the story of what the characters found in each other. In reality we usually know how these types of scenarios play out. For a Friday night and the mood I was in, this was just the right movie. We need more movies like this with deep tones of character play. An interesting watch

Needless interweaving and the story goes on and on and on. Was intriguing but would have been a better watch even if there was a single climax to any of the plotlines. Basically everyone dies but the main characters who have more lives than a cat. Couldnt wait for it to get over honestly but ended up watching till the end as I had committed to it and with a bit of regret. The characters love putting their heads on an altar with bad decisions they constantly take.. Cliffhanger without a cliff nor a fall. Awful
