Next to Atlas Shrugged, this is one of the best novels written. In a terrific story, it lays out the deterioration of the natural rights of US Citizens and the continuing and unchecked incursion of the US Federal government on the freedom of its citizens and what the characters do about it. It is clear, well-written, well-reasoned and compelling.
It was also a huge risk for the author, John Ross, to write this book as it could clearly offend real bureaucrats and real government agencies who could be capable of unleashing personal, financial and physical harm on an individual under the excuse of "national security"; With unlimited legal resources, the government could bankrupt an individual just by filing lawsuits.
This book is hard to find and expensive to buy. However, it is worth it.
