Every 3 to 4 years I find a book that stops me in my tracks. My 3 years are up and no other book can compare. I finished it 2 days ago and I am dying because I don't have anyone to talk to about it. I still well up with tears when I think about the characters and their lives. I am in 2 book clubs and this will be my pick for both of them. We actually have a rule that we won't read any more WW2 books, but even if you are tired of Hitler and that era, this will chenge your mind. I have a new understanding and point of view that I have never experienced, and never will again. These people are my new best friends, lovers, and confidants. I don't know how to live without them. The good news is that a movie is coming out so that I can see them again. Goodness, I sound so sappy and I'm not like that at all but this book does all of the things. I have earmarked so many lines of advice and amazing thoughts, how can someone think of such great ideas? It may change your life. Please read it, you will not be sorry. Ugh! What else can I say to get you to read this book? Just do it and quit reading reviews!
