Enigma 4you

This movie took every opportunity for greatness and turned it into mediocre at best. The cast was strong and they gave some great performances. The topic was great and the actual events were full of heroism and drama. The action scenes were ok but not very realistic. The best scenes were the ones that did not depend on action, the ones where actual acting talent was used. So, the movie had a lot to of un-needed story lines, almost as if there was allot more that was supposed to be there but had to be cut. John Ford was on midway and the footage he captured there is well know and incredible. The movie made a big deal of showing him on midway then nothing, he was never mentioned again. Several things like that. This movie needs to be re-edited. Tell the story as it was, don’t throw in suspenseful moments where none are needed. It could be a great movie, but it wasn’t, Don’t waste your money, catch it on Netflix in a few months.
