Great story line for what is essentially just a fighting film. They could have easily just went with a tournament that pushed 2 people into a fight but instead you have a great flowing story line so you can really understand what they are fighting for whilst the story unfolds. Characters where a little rushed but considering how many characters need to be introduced in a short amount of time I think they did a grand job.
