One of the hardest films I watched. Couldn't watch it in one go. Every time I come to a point where I couldn't go on, I stop then watch again after I reoovered from my emotions. I hope and pray that the real Hakeem survived the ordeal. A lesson in resilience and having a strong foundation of faith. Thank God Najeeb was able to come through and tell his story. I think about the countless Najeebs & Hakims who had come before them and have never made it out, like that old man before Najeeb.

I love watching Indian crime stories in Netflix and this is a must-watch. A riveting story with very sinister characters and it took me to a world of darkness. Just thinking of the harrowing experiences of those poor orphan girls made me really felt bad. The fact that this story was based on a real-life scandal is what really shocked me.

Inspirational. Riveting. Emotional. I feel for Kiran and her family. I have only admiration for the parents especially the father who was willing to defy the patriarchy to get justice for his daughter at all cost. I hope Kiran achieves her dream of one day becoming a police officer so she could pay it forward.

Compelling and riveting. The film will not give a sense of closure but leaves the viewer with a heavy heart and such painful emotions for the two victims of the crime. So many questions unanswered which makes one yearn for justice that would be impossible to achieve in this kind of case. Not after the botched first investigation.

You know the kind of films that makes you stare into space with a poignant sadness and an inexplicable longing you can't explain as the credits rolls towards the end? This is one of them. It blew me away.
